Biography of the band

After the last tour (Magic Tour) and two albums Queen had got another break. In 1987 Roger, who was missing the tours, decided to make his own group. Other musicians approved of it decision, because they had begun to work with their own solo projects. He wrote in "Melody Maker" newspaper the advertisement, which got only few responses. Then Roger made advertisement in frame in the same newspaper. After the fourth day listening to 250 people to the accompaniment of phonograms "Love Lies Bleeding" and "Cowboys and Indians" Roger made his choice. Finally the following group was organized:

Roger Taylor: Vocals, Guitar, Drums, Keyboards
Clayton J.L. Moss: Lead Guitar
Peter Noone: Bass Guitar
Josh Macrae: Drums
Spike Edney: Keyboards

Roger: "I want to be in the real group, to play the music, which I like (hardrock), and to take part in the live concerts".

The first album was a little gloomily, probably because of synthetic sounding drum-mashines. However in this album, in spite of the first not lucky try, we can find something about five not bad tracks, and all three singels got to the charts (but far from first places). The group went on tour to UK and to Germany, during which, they were followed by Queen's fans.

The Second album group made on Parlophone, and it became more luckily, than previous one. Using this event Virgin had produced Shove It (the first album) again but now it was cheaper. However Mad Bad din't even get to the charts. The third album, Blue Rock, was the best. This album appeared only in Germany and Japan, where the group The Cross reached the most popularity. The group dissociated because of the lack of support in UK and USA. It is a pity...
